Highlights

01

Designed a searchable, filterable activity library for fast on-site facilitation.

02

Created flexible activity pages with concise overview content, tabs, notes, and offline access.

03

Extended the system into an admin dashboard for drafting, publishing, and managing activity content.

01 — CONTEXT

Great in-person experiences, fragmented digital resources.

Fulcrum’s activity resources were useful, but scattered across Drive folders, PDFs, printed binders, and other platforms. Facilitators needed a faster way to find and reference lesson materials while working with groups in real time.

MVP — Mobile App

Accessible, centralized access to team-building and personal-development lesson plans and activities.

V2 — Admin Dashboard

A place for admins to create, organize, and publish activity content directly to the app.

02 — DEFINE

Facilitators lack one place to quickly find and reference activity plans.

The product needed to support faster prep, consistent facilitation, admin visibility, and a centralized on-the-go experience for field use.

Key pain points

Resources were scattered, new staff struggled to remember guidelines, activity instructions were hard to visualize from text alone, and content creation had no central management workflow.

03 — SOLUTION

A connected system for facilitators and admins.

The mobile app helps facilitators discover, save, download, and reference activities. The admin dashboard gives Fulcrum a centralized place to create, edit, draft, publish, and manage activity content.

04 — KEY SCREENS

Group the visual work by product moment, not by loose cards.

05 — TESTING & REFLECTION

Feedback helped simplify the system.

Feedback

Users confused saved, completed, bookmarks, and playlists, and icon-only dashboard actions lacked clarity.

Adjustment

Removed redundant complete states, clarified naming, merged media upload into one cover media field, and added tooltips.

01

What I would carry forward

Define MVP boundaries earlier, push sooner for real facilitator input, and invest more upfront in reusable components and developer handoff specs.

Explore & filters

Search, category graphics, and filters for context-specific activity discovery.

Activity page

Overview, tags, media, tabs, notes, save, and offline download in one template.

Dashboard

List view for searching, sorting, filtering, editing, deleting, and publishing activities.

Create activity

Cover media, basic info, flexible content tabs, and publish preview.
