Hi, I’m Hillary!

A few years ago, I thought I was headed for a career in finance. But during my last year at community college, I stumbled across UI/UX and realized design was where I belonged. I’ve always loved people and creating with them in mind just made sense. That discovery brought me to UC San Diego, where I’m studying Cognitive Science with a focus on design and interaction.

Since then, I’ve explored design through campus organizations, collaborative projects, and my current role as Marketing Lead for Triton Software Engineering. What ties all of it together is the belief that design is most powerful when it feels human.

Outside of design, I’m usually reading, experimenting with content creation, or filming food videos (I’m still finding my niche, but eating well is definitely part of it).
